December 8th : Sharing my Completed Fiber Nativity
Submitted by Pam on Thu, 12/08/2016 - 19:15Today is Precepe Day in Italy and along with setting up my small collection of nativities, I added the babe and the manger to my all fiber nativity scene.
Needle felting was the perfect choice for both the babe in swaddling clothes and the manger. Bits of stash yarn in shades of yellow were needle felted to the bottom inside of the manger and then some were untwisted. Very simple and quick!

How to make Temari Holiday Trees
Submitted by Pam on Sun, 12/04/2016 - 17:33Happy Holiday Making everyone! A very special post for you today, a project that Diane (Craftypod) and I began several years ago. She basically gave me permission to share it about three years ago, but my life has been pretty much upside down in that time. Finally, I am sharing, and just in time for you to make one for your own holidays.
Punched Tin Holiday Tree
Submitted by Pam on Sun, 11/20/2016 - 06:52Despite glaring imperfections, I am happy to have this punched tin tree finally joining all the others in my tree collection.
It was Muse's idea to use one of my punched tin light shields as the topper. I thought she was crazy, but ... it works! One must always trust Muses. They know stuff.
This is not really a proper tutorial, but more of a guide for anyone wanting to create a similar tree.
Fiber Nativity Inspired by Many Friends
Submitted by Pam on Tue, 11/15/2016 - 21:49Finally, after spending over four years on my to do list, my fiber nativity is on display. It is a happy result of inspiration from many of my online friends, and as it grows from year to year, it will continue to reflect inspiration from additional friends who inspire me!
